Legal clerkship: My practical work experience.

You have passed the first state examination with above-average success and would like to gain practical experience in a professional environment as part of your traineeship? Then we can offer you the opportunity to join us as a trainee to complete your optional training period.

Volkswagen Financial Services AG is the holding company of the subgroup Volkswagen Financial services and responsible for the global control of its subsidiaries. In the legal department of Volkswagen Financial Services AG exciting tasks in the areas of company law, M&A, capital market law, trademark law and insurance law, data protection, real estate law, commercial law as well as banking supervisory law are waiting for you.

Volkswagen Bank GmbH and Volkswagen Leasing GmbH are responsible for the operative business in Germany. Here interesting issues in civil law, in particular in the areas of vehicle financing, leasing and direct banking business as well as labour law and competition law are waiting for you.

Procedure

. Elective station of your legal clerkship
. Working hours: 35 h / week on five days (flexible hours)
. We show you a job profile in which the compulsory stations of the legal clerkship give practically no insight.

 

My tasks

. You provide support in the ongoing consultation of the respective departments in all legal matters.
. You take over appropriate topics and process them on your own and independently.
. You actively participate in the processing of larger projects.
. You draft correspondence and contracts.
. Your tasks also include the preparation of legal opinions.
. You participate in publications.

In the last month of the optional training period you will also receive a total of 12 hours of individual lessons in the legal department of Volkswagen Bank/Volkswagen Leasing in cooperation with the legal revision course Hemmer as preparation for the oral examination. Obviously, we shall cover the costs!
