Cloud Solution Developer (f/m/x) 

The Data Analytics & AI Unit (DNA) is responsible for establishing analytics and artificial intelligence as core competencies of the company. With the creation and operationalization of data and AI products, value creation is improved across departments and markets and the transformation into a "Data Driven Company" is driven forward.

Your Daily Business:

• As a Software Developer in the AWS cloud environment, you will work closely with Data Scientists, Data Product Managers and additional Data Engineers on the development, improvement and operations of software and platforms as part of a committed, product-oriented team.
• You work in a team to develop customer-oriented solutions based on machine learning models. Your very good Python skills and experience with AWS (S3, RDS, Lambda, ECS, Step Functions) will serve you well.
• You are also able to describe and develop software architectures, thus making a significant contribution to transforming VWFS into a "Data-Driven Company".
• Ideally, you already have knowledge in the development of REST APIs and microservices. Database technologies (MongoDB, Oracle, MySQL, MS SQL) are also familiar territory for you.
• You will contribute to the creation and further development of a Continuous Delivery toolchain, create automated tests and continuously develop them further, leveraging your experience with development tools, build tools and Continuous Delivery (e.g. Git, Concourse).
• You preferably have experience with test-driven development (TDD), a solid understanding of testing practices and experience implementing automated (UI) tests.
• Team player wanted: You and your team are responsible for the operation of your created solutions and the know-how transfer within and beyond the team.
• You possess an agile mindset and work with your team, the Scrum Master and the Product Owner to find innovative ways to improve your collaboration.
• You quickly integrate into the company's network and regularly attend training events in your area of expertise, because you are motivated, passionate and have strong communication skills.
• You are comfortable working in an international environment and bring both the ability and willingness to conduct a significant amount of verbal and written communication in English
